Like many of her books, I cannot get through Christmas Tapestry without getting seriously choked up. Actually, there are a few passages with references to the Holocaust I simply cannot read to my kids right now--so preview the book before reading it to someone say, under ten years old or so.
This book is based on a true story, with one of the happiest endings you could ever hope for. I'm getting all teary-eyed just writing about it.
*All this month at sara-sundries, I'll be highlighting beloved holiday books. I'd love to hear from you about your favorites!
