For the first time, last weekend, Tom and I (and two little helpers) put up Christmas lights outside our house. We had been talking about getting solar powered outside lights for a couple of years, and last Saturday, I just said, let's go get them. So, off we went to Target and purchased 3 boxes of these.
I didn't do any research whatsoever on solar powered lights. I just wanted to get some and get them up, with the idea that I would return them if they didn't work out.
Well, so far, so good. They aren't as bright as traditional lights, but to me , they definitely have a magical sparkliness to them. And I don't have to remember to turn them on or off. And they are powered by the sun! Very cool.
good for you..great idea, I 'm had some, hope yours last longer then mine...but its great, like you said, you dont have to turn them off. Love your picture's and story''s happy holiday's vera
I am a creative type, an artist. Married to a wonderful hubby, with two beautiful children (Valerie 16, Andrew 12), I just wing it and try to keep it all together everyday. I love to run and paint and write and crochet and sew and read, but I usually find myself doing other things like cooking, which I don't love, or trying to keep up with the dishes and the laundry, which I don't mind too much.
And...I am homeschool teacher with a public charter school.
