Holiday Books: How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

You've seen the movie (and I don't mean that 2000 abomination), but have you ever read the book? There are some differences in the illustrations, but the message is the same. The Grinch's character transformation is as powerful as Scrooge's, in my opinion. And I always get choked up reading, "It started in slow. Then it started to grow..." describing the singing Whos.

This year, treat yourself--and your kids--to the book version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

*All this month at sara-sundries, I'll be highlighting beloved holiday books. I'd love to hear from you about your favorites!

  1. My kids love unpacking the Christmas books every december. We put them out on the coffee table like a Barnes and Noble display.

They love The Mother Goose Christmas Carols and the large books that have song buttons on the side. Lets not forget .... the nostalgic pop up christmas favorites and the mini books with a button for santa's "hohohos" and "crunch, crunch" as he eats his cookies:)

Its great to enjoy these books and classic DVD's once a year and then put them away until next December. Less clutter for me and the kids have to wait a whole year to see them again:)
