There Was Some Sewing, Too

How could I have forgotten I spent the two days before Christmas Eve sewing? Valerie asked me to make her a red dress to wear on Christmas and I just couldn't say no.

She told me exactly what she wanted. A "vest-dress" with a zipper down the front, rick-rack trim, and gold buttons. So, that's what she got!


Then, I had to make a little something for Andrew, too, right? He got this cute little vest. I put velcro under the buttons so he could fasten it himself.

Valerie put her dress on first thing Christmas morning, before even opening presents. Andrew put his vest on and promptly took it off again a couple of times that day.

Totally worth it!
