Saturday on DVD: Enchanted April

Can you believe it is Spring already? How did this happen? For several years now, I have had a strange relationship with Springtime. (More on that in next Tuesday's post.) But this film helps. I absolutely adore Enchanted April. I watch it every year.

It's got great costumes, lovely scenery, and a story about four London women who rent a villa in Italy for a month that always leaves me in good spirits. Plus there are all the wonderful actors including: Josie Lawrence, Miranda Richardson, Alfred Molina, Jim Broadbent, Michael Kitchen, Polly Walker (featured on the DVD cover at left) , and Joan Plowright.

Here is the trailer. And here's to an enchanted April 2010!

P.S. I will be starting a new Saturday series next week, which I am quite excited about. But this one has been so much fun, I will likely do it again next Winter.

P.P.S. I cannot end without directing your attention once again to my favorite movie of all time.
