Happy birthday, Mr. Tolstoy. You would have been 188 years old today. And that is how long it feels like I have been reading Anna Karenina (976 pages of tiny print!).
I have been busy with modern life. But I love reading your words which take me to 19th century Russia. I want to visit Levin's house in the countryside. I want to attend a dinner party at the Oblonsky's. I want to dance beside Anna and Vronsky at a ball.
I want to spend all day reading. (So I can finish the book and watch the movie!)
