Here's a fun movie for your Valentine's Day weekend (and fun for the month of February even if it's not currently a): Leap Year.
A good friend invited me over one night last year to watch a movie. We found this one On Demand, poured glasses of red wine, grabbed a few Lindt Lindor Truffles and settled in on the comfy couch, knowing it would be a challenge to stay awake for the duration of a movie starting after 9:30 p.m. But we gave it a go, and it turned out to be really cute flick.
Leap Year was the first movie I ever saw on a TV in HD. It took some getting used to, being able to watch strands of hair blow across Amy Adams' lovely face, or see some serious twinkle in Matthew Goode's charming Irish eyes (though he's actually from England). This is a serious chick flick with romantic tension that will knock your socks off. And for me, the allure of Ireland made it all that more enchanting.
Other recommendations for this upcoming weekend of love:
Chocolat, Breakfast at Tiffany's, A Room With a View, 50 First Dates.

ReplyDeleteI was talking about Chocolat, a cute little french story:)
ReplyDeleteChocolat, my eternal favorite!!!!!
ReplyDeleteChocolat wins hands down....But Leap Year sounds enticing. You can't go wrong with British accents and Irish scenery.
ReplyDeleteIreland and twinkling eye's?! I'm so adding this to my Netflix list!
